libldb1 software package provides LDAP-like embedded database - shared library, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libldb1
libldb1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libldb1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libldb1 *
You will get with libldb1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
